Four Seasons Wines is the wine-making arm of the UB Group, who also import wines from around the world into India under the United Vintners Ltd banner. It has a winery modeled on a French chateau near Baramati and uses grapes grown by local farmers in the Sahyadri valley. Besides continuing long-term agreements with local farmers the company also intends to establish some 300 acres of its own vineyards.
This is a big operation with a production potential of 1 million cases. They released their first vintage in 2008 and currently produce six red, three white and one rose wine from French varietals.
